Expansion Team

The Right Talent - At The Right Time

In order to extend the bandwidth of your on-site development team(s) or to create your own development team, Spire Systems proposes an off-site “extended team” business model.  This model is typically utilized when the project is ongoing and project requirements continue to grow over time. In this model, Spire assigns our customer a team of developers who work on their specific project exclusively.  Our customers prefer the extended team model because it allows them to reach an optimized Return on Investment (ROI) from their development efforts. Spire Systems appoints the lead developer/team leader who manages each team of developers. Customers communicate with our team leader and plan intermediate milestones to complete project phases. In this model, developers are fully dedicated and integrated into each customer’s project and their on-site teams. They often work with the customers in the Agile or SCRUM method of software development and are in constant communications with the customers via Skype, e-mail, phone, IM or in-person.  They also send daily reports and use a variety of reporting tools as well as frequent code drops. In this model, upon request, Spire will send a team leader to the customer’s site to become familiar with the project, meet the on-site team, complete the knowledge transfer, and then return to lead and manage their offshore development teams.
